"Second Time Around" is sometimes humorous as well as a serious account of the struggles and successes of a grandmother and grandson's encounters while bridging the generational gap. From play dates to electronic mail, there are bridges to cross and lessons to learn. A thirty years hiatus from raising a son to bringing up a grandson is found to a challenge as well as rewarding. Times has changed and moved on but little boys as well as grandmothers are still interesting species. Throughout the book bridges are crossed and lessons are learned and grandmother and grandson are bonded for a life and forever.
