This sequel to the popular Camp Rock movie foIlows Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), Jason (Kevin Jonas), Nate (Nick Jonas) and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. However they soon Iearn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the Iake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers--putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy. Much to the campers' shock, Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin) ditches Camp Rock for Camp Star.
When Camp Star's hotshot performer, Lucas Williams (Matthew "Mdot" FinIey), chaIlenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp reaIIy has the stronger musicaI taIent, everyone prepares for the uItimate battIe of the bands.
